    NADRAC's role

NADRAC seeks to foster high quality Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) research that will contribute to the development of evidence based ADR services and interventions. NADRAC's Charter also provides that it may advise the Attorney-General on the need for data collection and research concerning ADR and the most cost-effective methods of meeting that need, including by courts and tribunals. NADRAC may also advise on evaluation of the quality, integrity, accountability and accessibility of ADR services and programs.

NADRAC holds a National ADR Research Forum which brings together researchers, practitioners, policy advisers and funding providers to consider current and future research directions. The last Forum was held in July 2010.
